Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Queen of Hearts’ – Oak Leaf Hydrangea
‘Queen of Heart’s’ has pyramidal flower panicles that stretch above the oak shaped foliage. The flowers start off white at the beginning of the season and turn to deep pink as the season change. The leaves also change from dark green during the summer to mahogany in the fall. Exfoliating bark only adds winter interest to an otherwise bleak landscape. ‘Queen of Heart’s’ reach 6-7′ tall and 8-9′ wide over several years.
