Panicum virgatum ‘North Wind’ – Blue Switchgrass

Winning perennial plant of the year in 2014, this native cultivar has dark green to steel blue leaf blades that reach 4-5′ in height. Feathery panicles extend another 1-2′ after blooming in the late summer. This is a fast-growing grass that stands upright and clumps together. Plant 36″ apart.
