Polystichum arostichoides – Christmas Fern

This evergreen fern is native to our rocky forest soils. Its dark green, 2′  fronds, have are often used in Christmas decorations. Christmas ferns prefer shade, but they can tolerate some sun if they are kept moist. Plant 18″ apart.
