Viola walteri ‘Silver Gem’ – Prostrate Blue Violet
Silver Gem Viola forms a dense mat of groundcover stretching 3-5″ tall. The heart-shaped leaves, typical of Violets, are silvery with pronounced green veins on the topside, and burgundy underneath. In the early spring, this Viola bears tiny lavender-blue flowers. Plant in moist, well-drained soils about 10″ apart.
